Zion Canyon

Zion National Park is one of our favorites. Hiking never gets boring. There is such a diversity of rocks, flowers, cacti, water, desert...it is amazing. One of our hikes took us to Observation Point. It was hot. We were grateful for every bit of shade. Resting in the shade always provides a good opportunity to look more closely, appreciating the little things. Finally after a few hours of hiking Observation Point rewarded us with a magnificent view. To me it is happiness just to sit there, marvel about how that river carved the canon/valley, the beauty of the rocks and their patterns. Up there is peace, and quiet, and incredible beauty.
