The slot canyons in Escalante always amaze me. You can walk for miles sometimes squeezing through narrow passages, climbing over boulders in your way, often feeling really chilly even though at first you were grateful for getting a break from the heat outside, then suddenly sunlight shining through creates a glorious spotlight on the rocks. These canyons are indeed a special adventure and I want to give you a glimpse of this wonderful, amazing world.
